About Us

Caitríona O’Sullivan (B.Sc. Physio, Lic. Acup, M.I.S.C.P) is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Licensed Acupuncturist, with over 25 years of clinical experience providing the highest standard of clinical care and professionalism.

Caitríona graduated from U.C.D. in 1991 with a B.Sc. Physiotherapy (Hons). She is a member of the I.S.C.P, the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists which is the professional body for Chartered Physiotherapists in Ireland.

She completed a Licentiate in Acupuncture through the University of Nanjing in 2001. Post graduate courses are an essential part of her annual commitment to ongoing education.

Having worked extensively in Hospitals gaining a wealth of experience in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Neurology, Plastics and Outpatients, Caitríona moved to a large city centre practice in 1999 where she worked in partnership until 2009. She then opened her current practice in Union Quay. Caitríona has worked with the Irish Defence Forces for over 12 years. She has also worked with prominent rugby, hurling and football teams in Cork. She has worked with accomplished marathon runners and esteemed musicians.

Caitríona specialises in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. This includes neck, shoulder and upper limb, back, hip, lower limb, gait analysis and orthotic prescription and foot problems. Whether you are a young child, an aspiring athlete, lead a sedentary lifestyle or are happily retired,  Caitríona will be happy to treat.

Caitríona has enabled young children to gain the mobility and confidence to partake in schoolyard games and sport. She has helped many to reach their goal of running 5km to full marathons. She has enabled musicians to play for long hours. She has contributed to maintaining an active healthy population among all age groups from Cork and beyond.
